Often the suffering we experience is because others are just not capable. The person can never give us or be what we want or need… Yet, for some reason, we keep trying to get them to be, to be capable, to see how they are “not doing enough”, the error of their ways, to change… We feel angry, sad, unappreciated, unseen and unloved… But, this is our experience not necessarily the truth. We remain in the cycle of suffering because we don’t accept the person as they are. Some people aren’t able to do or be what we want. We take it personally. We would never expect a child to perform open heart surgery. Feeling the pain of the truth brings us to acceptance… Here is where we regain control and stop suffering. © jodihealy.com – if you like this please share, someone else may too
