Texting and Facebook are not REAL relationships…

Texting and Facebook are not REAL relationships… What happened to normal energetic exchanges of person to person? In person? On the phone? A conversation with our voices, our presence? I feel like a robot. If all you do is text someone and Facebook them, never call or spend time with them, it is not real… you are not actually experiencing them as a person and are missing out… Make the effort. Make the phone call. You will remember very quickly what you are missing; a deep exchange of being, harmony, intonation, expression, movement, beauty, touch, a merging of energy, love… © Jodi Healy – if you like this please share, someone else may too 🙂

  1. FB is one of my pet peeves. I think not only is FB not a real relationship, but can be destructive as well. All of the facial inflections, the audible inflections, the nuances of a real conversation, a real human being, are lost to keyboard characters. Thanks for this post!

Rob, thanks for the post! With any progress there are cons that accompany the pros or benefits. Social media is a new phenomena which will find its balance… and will adjust…
