Sometimes that one person comes into our lives that jolts us to our core… It is as if we “remember” who we were before, that we are missing something, have forgotten, or lost a piece of ourselves… A part of us awakens, comes alive that we didn’t feel before. It isn’t anything they do specifically, although some confuse their presence attaching more meaning than they are supposed to… But there is an innate knowing that we experienced this being before, in some way, and we just know them… We feel a higher vibration around them, happiness, love. That is a soul mate.. a soul we have contracted with or have travelled with before, in this dimension or maybe another… It doesn’t matter when, where or why. What we are meant to take away from this experience, is not that we are “meant to be” with this person in this dimension (even though that is a possibility), but to identify the piece they awaken within us, the part they trigger that we forgot, or the part of them that resonates in us so strongly we often believe we need them to give it to us… We don’t. A soul mate often comes with a soul contract for that exact reason, to awaken us, to show us the piece we have forgotten or need… © Jodi Healy
