No one likes to experience pain… but pain is our internal warning system that something is wrong. When we experience “pain” physically or emotionally, our psyche is relaying messages to us to FIX something, causing the pain. Feelings are our gauge for what we need to address, and the intensity is an indication of how severe the issue is. Often physical pain is the end result of an escalation of chemical imbalance or erroneous replication or production of our epitome. Our feelings are a gift, our internal barometer. We try so hard to avoid pain, by drugs, escape, numbing ourselves, while what is wrong continues to fester… If we don’t pay attention it will catch up, physically through a serious illness or through an emotional breakdown or depression… If we just learned how to embrace what we feel, our lives would radically transform… © Jodi Healy
