If you had what you feel is missing, what would be different? Would your state of being radically change because the new kitchen is finally in, you got your dream car, or your partner surprised you with Broadway tickets? Sit quietly and imagine yourself having everything you feel is missing… everything that is preventing you from being content, fulfilled and complete right now… Picture it all here. Ok, so yes those moments would provide brief pleasure, but do they really change anything? Anything overall? Of course not. It is the human trap. “When”, “when I get it”, “when I do it”, “when I find it”… then… always then. Why can’t now, exactly as it is, be perfect? Maybe it already is.
