If I believe the sky is red but you believe the sky is blue (even if everyone else sees blue) does it really matter what I believe? Why is it so important for us to have everyone believe what we do… Why do we need someone else to confirm it? Why do we feel the need to try to convince everyone else to see what we see… to show them if they believe something different they are wrong. Does it make what we believe real just because someone else agrees with us? No. The world was once flat… people couldn’t fly… a computer was the size of a car… The truth is, if we had faith and were resolute in what we believed, it wouldn’t matter in the least if someone agreed with us or not… I prefer a world of color, creativity, innovation, unique perspective, and difference… where we believe and live harmoniously in our independent convictions. If our belief is real, true to our soul, we are confident in our conviction, and are resonating with truth, it doesn’t matter if someone else believes us or not. We are both ultimately right, from the perspective we are standing. © Jodi Healy
