Sometimes.. someone elses lesson or experience is not ours to carry..

Sometimes.. someone else’s lesson or experience is not ours to carry.. even if we love and care for them. And, sometimes loving someone is letting them go, letting them deal with their feelings and experience alone… detached with unconditional love. And, sometimes we need to free ourselves from our overburdened sense of responsibility, caretaking, micromanaging, desire to fix, or control life… And, sometimes we need set to ourselves free and let ourselves go.. © Jodi Healy
